Duke University: Fuqua School of Business
In its relatively short history, The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina has established itself as one of the leading business schools in the world.
Fuqua is one of the top U.S. business schools. We enrolled our first class (12 strong!) in 1970. Today, the annual enrollment in our degree programs is approximately 1,340. More than 1,000 managers and executives of leading firms worldwide attend our non-degree Executive Education programs each year.
The Fuqua School of Business has established itself as a leading educator and supplier of future business leaders at all levels around the globe. We've earned this leadership position with the help of our corporate partners who derive value from their relationships with Fuqua. We provide our students with the corporate partnernerships for recruitment, collaboration with our faculty in areas of research and customized corporate education, partnership to enrich the MBA experience.
To remain true to our mission and produce global leaders of consequence, we must rethink traditional geographic and intellectual boundaries. The world we now live in is multi-centric, globally interdependent, and dynamic — yet challenging. Standard frameworks and assumptions may be slow to adapt, but they must. In order to play our part in addressing tomorrow's business challenges, we've announced plans to become the world's first legitimately global business school, based in the economic and cultural hubs of world regions.
