Hi Kapilb,
As I understand it, you are considering whether to take a dual program (PGDM + MBA) in Telecom or an MBA alone in Telecom.
Here, at SearchMBA, we are not specialists in postgraduate degrees which may be se an equivalents to an MBA. From what I do know, I can let you know that outside of India, the PDGM is not as widely used or considered to be an MBA equivalent. Thus, if you are hoping to work internationally, a program including an MBA would be a wise choice.
Further, an MBA is designed to give you a practical, hands-on education in business (within the context of Telecom, in this case). Since both of your options include an MBA, my best advice is to make a decision based on the specific programs that you are considering. That is, you can consider your other education needs such as a curriculum matching your career goals, ranking, class sizes, prospective salaries, international mobility, etc. to distinguish which program is the right fit for you.
Hope this has been helpful,
SearchMBA
