In Europe, the United States and Canada, it is common that accredited business schools require either GMAT or GRE exams (click links to read about the details of each exam). Online materials and practice tests are usually available online free or at little cost. Classroom courses are also available.
Other countries and geographical regions, such as India, may have different exam requirements. However, the GMAT has established somewhat of international recognition.
