MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management - Oil & Gas specialization - Online degree programme
The Online MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management with a specialised track in Oil & Gas will enable you to fundamentally grasp the economic nature and structure of the oil, gas and energy sectors and explore the intricacies associated with sourcing energy, energy distribution, and sustaining energy supply chains.
This track offers a theoretical and practical examination of the factors necessary for effective operations and supply management in today’s global and highly competitive markets. Modules include Strategic Operations Management, Economics of Oil, Gas and Energy, and Managing Energy Sources.

The MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management is a highly international programme and the first wholly online programme to be accredited by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). Application and Admission Requirements
General Admission Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent to UK Honours degree.
- English equivalent to minimum of IETS test level 6.5 overall.
- TOEFL 580 paper based test / 88 Internet based test / TEEP 6.5
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
MSc Supply Chain Management programme:
Six core modules cover core subjects such as Strategic Operations Management, Supply Chain Operations Management, Logistics and International Trade, Business Analysis, Total Quality Management and Lean Thinking. You will then specialise by studying the Economics of Oil, Gas and Energy, and Managing Energy Sources specialisation modules.
You will complete your qualification with an original dissertation. Your newly acquired range of key transferable skills will enhance your access to a wide variety of internationally focused managerial positions in the global oil, gas and energy industries.
In addition, you will gain a profound understanding of the processes and techniques for developing operations strategy and managing operations and supply chain activities.
