MSc in Management with a Oil and Gas specialization - Online degree program
The Online MSc in Management with a specialized track in Oil & Gas involves a systematic understanding of the theory and practice of general management, and the elementary economic patterns of the oil and gas industry, in the context of today’s global economy.
The online program is designed to give you a sound theoretical grounding in a broad range of business and management issues and help you develop a range of analytical and personal skills. The modules on this program include Strategic Organisation, Managing Finance and Economics of Oil, Gas and Energy.
This program is covered by the University of Liverpool Management School’s AACSB Accreditation.
Application and Admission Requirements
General Admission Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent to UK Honours degree.
- English equivalent to minimum of IETS test level 6.5 overall.
- TOEFL 580 paper based test / 88 Internet based test / TEEP 6.5
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
MSc in Management programme structure:
The core modules of the Online MSc in Management cover Strategic Organisation, Managing Finance, International Business and Emerging Markets, and Managing in a Multicultural Context. The two specialisation modules include Economics of Oil, Gas and Energy; and Managing Energy Sources; followed by a choice of two out of four elective modules comprised of Marketing Management, Economics for Management, Strategic Operations Management, and Strategy and Organisational Learning.
You will complete your MSc qualification with an original dissertation. Your newly acquired range of key transferable skills will enhance your admission to a wide variety of internationally focused managerial positions in the global oil, gas and energy industries.
In addition, you will analyse and critique management theory and practice, as well as develop the skill-set to address a wide range of managerial issues and problems.
